However, Stree 2 will take 60-70 percent of the shows in multiplexes, leaving the rest for the other two to divide it between them.
Stree 2 is not leaving any box-office records behind even in terms of national multiplex chains as it has recorded excellent advance bookings. The film has, with limited paid previews commencing at 9 PM on August 14, sold more than 2,50,000 tickets with previews. It has surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, which stood at 2,30,000 tickets, Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter with 1,45,000 tickets, and Kalki 2898 AD Hindi at 1,25,000 tickets.

Conclusion
To sum it up, looking at advance bookings and trends from day one, Stree 2 has everything to take the box office by storm this Independence Day and open up with a collection of over Rs 40 crore. With record-breaking ticket sales, especially in national multiplex chains, it is way ahead of other expected releases like Dunki and Fighter. In fact, it is challenging the advance bookings of blockbuster hits like Brahmastra or Tiger 3. KreativanSays While Stree 2 is an absolute leader, Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein are failing to leave a mark as their combined gross collections stand at a poor figure when pitched against the former. As the films hit theatres on August 15, one can definitely say that Stree 2 is going to be way out front and the others are scrounging for leftovers. How it all finally translates into final box office results shall be based on word of mouth, but Stree 2 really positions itself for a good run.
